Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Mono-Black Aristocrats strategy commanded by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER. The primary game plan revolves around deploying cheap, recurring creatures such as Gravecrawler, Bloodghast, and Forsaken Miner, then feeding them into sacrifice outlets like Warren Soultrader, Carrion Feeder, and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician. Sephiroth draws cards on entry and attack while draining opponents whenever creatures die. By orchestrating four creature deaths in a single turn, Sephiroth transforms into Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel, granting a permanent, non-interactable Super Nova emblem that burns opponents on every death trigger while providing massive burst card draw in combat. The list combines asymmetric board suppression via edicts (Plaguecrafter, Accursed Marauder) and Rottenmouth Viper with explosive lifegain and drain engines like Bolas's Citadel, Drivnod, Carnage Dominus, and Bastion of Remembrance to systematically overwhelm the table by turn 7.
