Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Grixis midrange and combo list commanded by Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin. The strategy centers on leveraging symmetric discard effects and turning them into asymmetric resource engines. Early turns establish mana acceleration through 2-CMC rocks and deploy key enablers like Waste Not, Liliana's Caress, or Displacer Kitten. Once Kefka enters the battlefield on Turn 4, every enter and attack trigger forces all players to discard, drawing fresh cards for each card type discarded. On Turn 5, the deck casts mass discard spells such as Dark Deal or Windfall to empty opposing hands while generating substantial mana, Zombie tokens, and life drain. With opponents stripped of interaction, the deck transitions into a swift Turn 6 finish through Thassa's Oracle and Demonic Consultation, an Underworld Breach storm loop, or lethal combat pressure.
