Deck overview

This Sultai deck is led by Maralen, Fae Ascendant and combines Elf and Faerie kindred synergies with card theft and token swarm strategies. The early game focuses on deploying efficient mana dorks like Llanowar Elves and low-cost kindred creatures like Bitterbloom Bearer. Casting Maralen, Fae Ascendant on Turn 4 establishes a continuous value engine, exiling cards from opponents' libraries and casting them for free as your creature count grows. The deck pressures the table by going wide with token generators such as Elven Ambush and Lathril, Blade of the Elves, then closing out the game through massive combat buffs from Coat of Arms or Finale of Devastation. Alternatively, the deck can assemble an infinite creature loop using Intruder Alarm and Presence of Gond. While vulnerable to sweepers, it carries instant protection via Selfless Safewright and counterspells to secure victory across mid-game combat turns.
