Deck overview

This is an Izzet spellslinger-storm deck helmed by Vadrik, Astral Archmage. Vadrik discounts every instant and sorcery by his power and grows whenever day and night flip, turning medium mana into enormous X-spells and storm turns. The primary plan is to land Vadrik (or a backup reducer like Mindsplice Apparatus / Glamdring, Foe-hammer), generate a burst of red mana from Mana Geyser, Jeska's Will, Birgi, God of Storytelling, or Storm-Kiln Artist, then empty the deck through storm payoffs (Grapeshot, Mind's Desire) or resolve a copy loop with Reiterate. Secondary paths include ping engines (Guttersnipe, Thermo-Alchemist, Unruly Catapult, Urabrask) and reckless extra-turn pressure via Last Chance. The deck plays as a classic high-variance Izzet combo list: thin tutors, dense rituals and card selection, and multiple overlapping storm and infinite-mana lines once the engine is online.
