Deck overview

This Grixis deck operates as a hybrid Spellslinger and Combo-Control strategy led by Saruman, the White Hand. Saruman provides defensive board presence by amassing large Orc Army tokens and granting ward {2} to key Goblins and Orcs. The deck leverages efficient 1–2 CMC mana rocks and card selection to control the early game with cheap countermagic and removal. Its primary victory condition is assembling an infinite token combat loop using Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker or Splinter Twin paired with Deceiver Exarch or Coercive Recruiter. Tutors like Goblin Matron and Diabolic Intent ensure consistent access to combo pieces by Turn 5. Backup plans include explosive Goblin token generation via Krenko, Mob Boss, burn attrition from Guttersnipe, and massive Orc Armies built through spellslinging.
