Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is commanded by Brimaz, Blight of Oreskos and focuses on Phyrexian tribal synergies, artifact tokens, and proliferate mechanics. Its core strategy centers on deploying Brimaz early, then casting Phyrexian and artifact creature spells to create Incubator tokens with +1/+1 counters. By sacrificing Phyrexians to outlets like Ashnod's Altar, Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, and Bloated Processor, Brimaz reliably triggers proliferate at every end step, swelling Incubators, loyalty, and poison counters. The deck finishes games by transforming massive Incubators, swarming with Golems and Mites amplified by Mondrak, Glory Dominus and Anointed Procession, or draining opponents with Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim and Scheming Aspirant. Interaction is solid, featuring efficient white-black exile removal, asymmetric board wipes like Sunfall, and stax pieces like Phyrexian Censor and Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines. It functions as a resilient midrange attrition deck that wins through compounding board presence.
