Commander: Zada, Hedron Grinder

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-red Zada, Hedron Grinder "spellslinger tokens" build that turns the commander's copy trigger into an engine of mass draw, ritual mana, and one-turn kills. The first three turns flood the board with Goblins, Elementals, and Thopters from Dragon Fodder, Krenko's Command, Hordeling Outburst, Young Pyromancer, General Kreat, the Boltbringer, and both Krenko, Mob Boss and Krenko, Tin Street Kingpin - the latter acting as a hidden commander in the 99. Once Zada lands, every single-target instant or sorcery is copied for each other creature, so a one-mana cantrip like Expedite becomes a draw-six and Battle Hymn becomes a ritual for seven or more. The primary kill is a copied Temur Battle Rage or Bulk Up combat swing from a hasty, trampling team. The alternate deterministic kill is Giggling Skitterspike: every copied spell targeting it pings each opponent for its power, and at monstrous 6/6 it ends the table in one chain. Storm-Kiln Artist, Runaway Steam-Kin, and Electro, Assaulting Battery keep the chain fueled.
