Deck overview

This Golgari deck pairs Sarevok, Deathbringer with the Raised by Giants Background to turn commander damage and board stalls into a lethal clock. The primary plan leverages edict creatures and sacrifice outlets to clear opposing boards while keeping Sarevok alive. Once Raised by Giants hits the battlefield, Sarevok becomes a 10/10 juggernaut. If opponents fail to remove a permanent on their turn, Sarevok forces them to lose 10 life during their end step. Secondary lines utilize aristocrats drain through Syr Konrad, the Grim and heavy attrition engines like Meren of Clan Nel Toth and Butcher of Malakir to grind opponents out.
