[FUTURE UPGRADES?] Ezuri by WhoCollin

Format: Commander

Commander: Ezuri, Claw of Progress

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Ezuri, Claw of Progress is a +1/+1 counter deck that turns a modest board of small creatures into an extra-turn lock. The deck floods with power-2-or-less creatures, accrues experience counters, and then uses Sage of Hours to chain extra turns once Ezuri's experience is at five or more. After the loop begins, a single overrun effect - Triumph of the Hordes or Finale of Devastation - ends the game, with Herald of Secret Streams or Champion of Lambholt providing unblockability. Proliferation from Inexorable Tide, Evolution Sage, and Mutational Advantage also feeds experience, Sage, Simic Ascendancy, and poison counters. Ezuri is a single-faced commander and the main engine, but counter-doubling permanents and The Ozolith give the deck a functional beatdown and Ascendancy fallback.
