Format: Commander

Commander: Ixhel, Scion of Atraxa

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Abzan Phyrexian deck wins by accelerating poison counters through infect, toxic, and proliferate effects, with Ixhel's Corrupted trigger providing card advantage and a theft subtheme. The primary plan is to land early toxic/infect creatures, stack poison through combat and spells, then use proliferate to close the game before opponents can stabilize. Secondary paths include commander damage via Ixhel and mass pump effects like Triumph of the Hordes. The deck's mana base supports its three colors with a moderate number of tapped lands, while redundant proliferate pieces and recursion keep the plan resilient.
