Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius spellslinger and token swarm deck commanded by Tura Kennerüd, Skyknight. The strategy revolves around resolving the commander and chaining low-cost instants and sorceries to build a wide board of 1/1 Soldier tokens. In the mid-to-late game, the deck transitions into combat beatdown by boosting tokens with anthem effects like Intangible Virtue, Goldnight Commander, and Captain of the Watch. The interaction package features classic Azorius permission and tempo tools, including Arcane Denial, Supreme Verdict, and bounce spells to control threats while token generation scales. Because the mana base relies heavily on basic lands and natural land drops with minimal artifact ramp, the deck operates at a deliberate, fair pace, reaching critical mass around Turn 8 and closing out opponents through sequential combat steps by Turn 10.
