Belisarius Cawl is not a double-faced commander; both of his abilities are used together. The primary plan is to build an artifact-token army, untap Cawl and his friends with Unwinding Clock, Drumbellower, Clock of Omens, and Dazzling Theater // Prop Room, and let Cawl's first ability create 2/2 Astartes. His second ability digs for artifacts, while Shorikai, Genesis Engine acts as a hidden commander-style draw engine and Pilot factory. The cleanest win is Cawl plus Intruder Alarm plus two artifact creatures, which generates unbounded Astartes; Dollmaker's Shop // Porcelain Gallery can convert that army into a single lethal combat. Fallbacks are Throne of Empires/Elspeth beats, and artifact recursion from Emry, Repair and Recharge, and Dance of the Manse.
