Saproling's by nathanielknopik

Format: Commander

Commander: Bruse Tarl, Boorish Herder and Tana, the Bloodsower

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Naya Partners deck leverages Tana, the Bloodsower and Bruse Tarl, Boorish Herder to build a wide token army while doubling combat damage through double strike. The primary game plan is to generate a swarm of Saproling tokens via Tana's combat damage trigger, then pump them with anthem effects like Cathars' Crusade, Beastmaster Ascension, and Mirari's Wake. Bruse provides double strike and lifelink to a key creature (often Tana), accelerating token production and providing life buffer. The deck wins through overwhelming combat damage, often finishing with Overwhelming Stampede or Impact Tremors/Goblin Bombardment pinging opponents. It eschews infinite combos for a consistent go-wide strategy, supported by a modest tutor suite and a handful of protection spells.
