Deck overview

This deck is a high-tempo Jeskai aggressive deck commanded by Sonic the Hedgehog. It leverages creatures with haste and flash to immediately threaten combat damage while growing the board with +1/+1 counters every time Sonic attacks. Supporting creatures such as Legion Loyalist, Loyal Apprentice, and Aurelia, the Law Above provide immediate offensive synergy, while coastal card-draw engines like Enduring Curiosity and Faerie Mastermind keep resources flowing. The deck converts damage dealt to its creatures into ramp via Sonic's Treasure generation ability, which synergizes with damage-based sweepers like Pyrohemia and Fiery Confluence. Without relying on infinite combos or heavy tutoring, the deck aims to overwhelm opposing life totals by turn 7 or 8 using evasion from Herald of Secret Streams, unblockable overruns with Akroma's Will, or explosive power doubling through Devilish Valet.
