Toph, the First Planeswalkerbender by user4235621

Format: Commander

Commander: Toph, the First Metalbender

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Toph, the First Metalbender leads a unique Superfriends shell that leverages artifact type manipulation to protect and recur planeswalkers. By using Liquimetal Coating, Liquimetal Torque, or Mycosynth Lattice, you turn planeswalkers into artifacts, which Toph automatically designates as lands. Toph then earthbends them into resilient land creatures that return to the battlefield if removed. The primary win condition is assembling powerful planeswalker emblems and overwhelming board states. Counter multipliers like Doubling Season, Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider, and Innkeeper's Talent enable immediate loyalty ultimates from cards like Chandra, Torch of Defiance and Vivien Reid, closing games via emblem burn and buffed combat swarms.
