Commander: Hylda of the Icy Crown

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Hylda of the Icy Crown leads a tap-matters control deck that converts every tapped opposing creature into card advantage, token swarms, or a team-wide buff. The primary plan is to establish a repeatable tapping engine, then use Hylda's triggered ability to bury opponents in 4/4 Elementals and extra draws. Secondary paths include Rhoda and Timin as a partner pair that grows Rhoda into a commander-damage threat, and a token-aggro finish with Moonshaker Cavalry. The deck also packs a dense instant-speed interaction suite, including counterspells, mass tapping, and board wipes, to survive until the engine takes over. The hidden commander is the Rhoda/Timin partner pair, which functions as a backup tap engine and alternate win condition.
