Deck overview

Ezuri, Claw of Progress is a +1/+1 counter combo/tempo deck. The primary plan is to dump cheap unblockable creatures after Ezuri resolves, banking experience counters, and then convert that experience into a giant Blighted Agent or an extra-turn lock with Sage of Hours and Ouroboroid. Ezuri is the engine, not the finisher; Sage of Hours acts as the hidden payoff. Secondary lines use Ouroboroid, Zimone, Bristly Bill, and Branching Evolution to double counters into a lethal unblockable swarm, while Inexorable Tide and Evolution Sage proliferate experience and poison. A compact tutor package and free countermagic keep the two main lines consistent.
