Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Voltron and combat saboteur build commanded by Jin Sakai, Ghost of Tsushima. The strategy leverages Jin Sakai's solo-attack trigger to grant either unblockability through Ghost mode or double strike through Standoff mode. By equipping Jin with artifacts like Blackblade Reforged, Commander's Plate, and the various Swords of Mirrodin, each unhindered attack generates massive combat damage and card advantage from double-strike damage triggers. The deck supplements its commander with high-impact ninjutsu saboteurs like Fallen Shinobi, Silent-Blade Oni, and Shredder, Shadow Master that punish open opponents. A dense suite of countermagic, instant-speed exile removal, and protective equipment ensures Jin survives to finish opponents sequentially. While the deck lacks compact infinite combos and must eliminate players one by one over multiple combat steps, its overwhelming card flow, robust reanimation backup, and comprehensive protection make it a formidable, resilient combat engine.
