Deck overview

This is a toughness-matters Abzan deck built around Felothar the Steadfast, who lets all defenders attack and turns every creature's toughness into combat damage. The hidden commander is Doran, Besieged by Time, a redundant toughness-damage enabler and cost reducer. The primary plan is to play walls and mana dorks, use Felothar to draw massive cards by sacrificing high-toughness creatures, then finish with a Baldin, Century Herdmaster alpha strike. Secondary paths include Betor, Kin to All's end-step life drain and a slow commander-damage beatdown through Felothar and Doran. The commander is simultaneously the attack enabler and draw engine, so the deck leans heavily on keeping Felothar on the battlefield.
