Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Faerie kindred tempo strategy commanded by Tegwyll, Duke of Splendor. It leverages low-cost evasive Faeries, instant-speed flash threats, and token engines like Alela, Cunning Conqueror and Bitterblossom to build an overwhelming aerial army. Tegwyll provides a steady tribal anthem and replaces dying Faeries with card draw, discouraging opposing trades and softening the blow of removal. The deck controls the tempo of the game through counterspells, bounce spells, and goad effects, encouraging opponents to attack each other while keeping mana open on their turns. In the late game, high-impact finishers like Shadow Puppeteers, Glen Elendra Liege, and asymmetric board wipes like Kindred Dominance convert the token swarm into decisive combat damage. Operating primarily at flash speed, the deck pairs resilient board development with sharp stack interaction to close out games across the mid-to-late turns.
