Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov aggressive midrange build piloted by Breena, the Demagogue. The primary strategy focuses on deploying low-cost creatures in the opening turns, casting Breena on Turn 3, and attacking opponents with the highest life totals to trigger Breena's ability. This generates consistent card advantage while placing +1/+1 counters onto your attackers. The deck compounds this advantage through lifegain synergies such as Archangel of Thune and Soul Warden, token multipliers like Anointed Procession, and mass combat buffs like Cathars' Crusade. It disrupts opponents with high-impact combat tricks including Inkshield and Batwing Brume while redirecting opposing aggression using Combat Calligrapher. The endgame typically closes between Turns 5 and 7 through overwhelming evasive combat damage, accelerated by finishers such as Akroma's Will or high-value engines like Bolas's Citadel.
