Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black Zombie tribal and aristocrat swarm strategy commanded by Ghoulcaller Gisa. The primary game plan revolves around deploying low-cost Zombie creatures, anthems, and utility pieces during the opening turns, then casting Gisa to exponentially multiply board power by sacrificing high-power creatures for 2/2 Zombie tokens. The deck finishes games through wide combat swings empowered by tribal lords such as Undead Warchief and Death Baron, alongside persistent life drain from aristocrat payoffs including Ayara, First of Locthwain, Vengeful Dead, and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. Card advantage is sustained through repeatable draw engines like Cryptbreaker, Undead Augur, and Graveborn Muse. While the deck possesses resilient graveyard recursion via Lord of the Undead and Gravecrawler, it lacks dedicated stack protection, fast mana acceleration, and unconditional tutors, leaving its mid-game token engine vulnerable to well-timed board wipes and heavy exile removal.
