Commander: Vivi Ornitier

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger build around Vivi Ornitier, turning every noncreature spell into both a growing commander and a one-point burn to each opponent. The primary plan is to chain cantrips, auras, and removal spells, use Vivi's mana ability to keep casting, then finish with Pain for All on a large Vivi plus Screaming Nemesis to reflect lethal damage. A secondary milling path uses The Mindskinner to convert all Vivi pings into mill and Fraying Sanity to double it. Sliver payoffs such as Maskwood Nexus and Roaming Throne improve the board and double Vivi's triggers; Dawnsire, Sunstar Dreadnought is a backup artifact finisher. Vivi's survival and the right finisher are the deck's key pillars.
