New Untitled Deck by Us3ful_Idiot

Format: Commander

Commander: Nikya of the Old Ways

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Gruul creature-only strategy built around Nikya of the Old Ways. Nikya doubles all land mana at the price of banning noncreature spells, so the deck avoids instants, sorceries, artifacts, and enchantments entirely. The plan is to ramp to Nikya, use creature-draw engines to chain huge threats, grant haste through Urabrask/Anger, then finish with doubled damage and extra combat. Ruric Thar, Bane of Progress, Acidic Slime, and similar creatures provide interaction despite the spell restriction. There is no infinite combo; victories come from overwhelming trampling boards, often killing one player per combat and closing with Hellkite Charger. The deck is resilient to single-target removal but vulnerable to board wipes and fast combo. No hidden commander is present; the DFCs are utility creatures in the 99.
