Deck overview

This mono-red Dragon tribal deck focuses on mana acceleration, cost reduction, and deploying high-impact flying threats. Commanded by Lathliss, Dragon Queen, the game plan ramps aggressively during early turns with artifacts like Ruby Medallion and tribal reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman. Once Lathliss enters the battlefield, every subsequent Dragon spell creates an additional 5/5 flying Dragon token, doubling the board's offensive presence immediately. The deck converts this wide aerial army into rapid table pressure through haste enablers like Dragon Tempest and Rising of the Day, as well as direct damage triggers from Scourge of Valkas and Warstorm Surge. Standalone bombs such as Utvara Hellkite, Drakuseth, Maw of Flames, and Balefire Dragon ensure that the deck can threaten lethal finishes even without its commander. While resilient against ground-based aggro and single-target trades, the deck remains vulnerable to mass exile sweepers and countermagic due to limited stack interaction.
