Deck overview

This deck executes an Abzan graveyard and Voltron strategy centered on Kathril, Aspect Warper. Early turns focus on establishing mana through land ramp and mana artifacts while depositing high-value keyword creatures—such as Zetalpa, Primal Dawn, Titanoth Rex, and Daring Fiendbonder—into the graveyard via cycling and self-mill. On Turn 5, Kathril enters the battlefield, collecting keyword counters like flying, double strike, trample, and indestructible, which also grow its power and toughness. Kathril then seeks to eliminate opponents individually through commander damage across consecutive turns. Secondary threats such as Soulflayer and Cairn Wanderer act as backup keyword hosts, while reanimation spells like Unburial Rites provide resilience against removal.
