Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Boros combat and combo engine commanded by Winota, Joiner of Forces. The primary strategy focuses on curving out with resilient, low-cost non-Human creatures during the opening turns, including token producers, protection dorks, and evasive attackers. On Turn 4, deploying Winota and declaring an immediate attack triggers multiple triggers that dig six cards deep per attacker. These triggers cheat game-ending Human payoffs directly onto the battlefield tapped, attacking, and indestructible. Damage multipliers like Blade Historian and Angrath's Marauders quickly push lethal damage across all opponents by Turn 5. The deck also features a compact two-card infinite combat loop using Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and Combat Celebrant. A dense suite of proactive protection spells, including Grand Abolisher, Silence, and Deflecting Swat, ensures that the deck can safely execute its combat swings through opposing removal.
