Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Control shell piloted by Obeka, Brute Chronologist, leveraging turn-ending mechanics alongside a thematic suite of Mindslaver effects. Its core engine uses Obeka and Sundial of the Infinite to bypass negative end-step triggers on cards like Sneak Attack, Ideas Unbound, and Glorious End, permanently preserving cheated permanents and drawn cards. Dense 2-CMC mana acceleration supports rapid deployment of mid-game planeswalkers and late-game bombs such as Emrakul, the Promised End, Mindslaver, and Worst Fears. While the deck excels at disrupting individual opponents by controlling their turns and clearing stacks with turn-ending spells, it lacks compact infinite combos or table-wide overrun finishes. Consequently, closing out games relies on sequential combat damage from Eldrazi beatdown or planeswalker burns, giving opponents multiple response cycles to interact with its key permanents.
