Commander: Cosmic Spider-Man

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Cosmic Spider-Man is a single-faced five-color Spider-tribal commander who acts as a one-sided anthem: he attacks with evasion and lifelink himself, then gives every other Spider flying, first strike, trample, lifelink, and haste. The primary plan is to ramp into him, generate a wide Spider token board with Arachnogenesis, Spider Spawning, Arasta, and Twitching Doll, double that production with Bard, King of Dale, and finish through combat (often with Akroma's Will) or stack drain triggers from Bastion of Remembrance, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Mirkwood Bats. A secondary value plan uses Gwenom, Remorseless as a hidden commander and Bolas's Citadel for recursion and card advantage. It is a mid-speed, interaction-heavy board deck with no true infinite combo.
