He Sucks by HarrisonChuuu

Format: Commander

Commander: Astarion, the Decadent

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Astarion, the Decadent leads an Orzhov lifegain drain deck. The primary plan is to turn every point of life gained into opponent life loss using Vito, Sanguine Bond, Cliffhaven Vampire, Starscape Cleric, and similar payoffs, then win through the Exquisite Blood loop. Secondary paths are vampire token beats from Edgar and Mavren and burst finishes from Gray Merchant or Wound Reflection. Astarion is a six-mana value finisher whose Feed ability doubles a turn's damage at end step; he is not an engine. There is no hidden commander. Sorin and Edgar are transformable tools, not required for the main plan.
