Deck overview

Helmed by Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER, this Naya list is an equipment-voltron deck built to chain extra combat steps into a single overwhelming turn. Cloud's haste makes him an immediate attacker, and his attack trigger draws a card for every equipped attacker; once his power hits 7+, each swing also creates two Treasures that bankroll the finisher. The 99 revolves around this engine: Cloud, Midgar Mercenary doubles Cloud and Equipment triggers, Buster Sword and Sword of Feast and Famine convert each hit into cards and mana, and five extra-combat effects - Aurelia, the Warleader, Karlach, Fury of Avernus, Hexplate Wallbreaker, Full Throttle, and Tifa, Martial Artist - let one huge turn eliminate the whole table. Winning is almost always combat damage, either through an infinite Tifa loop or one massive multi-combat chain, made resilient by a dense suite of free spells, turn-locks, and protection.
