Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated Mono-Green Stompy strategy designed to maximize power-to-mana efficiency and exploit the cost-reduction mechanic of Ghalta, Primal Hunger. By leveraging efficient Turn 1 mana dorks into aggressively statted three- and four-drops like Steel Leaf Champion, Pugnacious Hammerskull, and Rhonas the Indomitable, the deck rapidly accumulates 10 or more power on board. This enables Ghalta to enter as early as Turn 4 for just two green mana. Once deployed, Ghalta fuels powerful draw engines such as Garruk's Uprising, Elemental Bond, and Rishkar's Expertise, continuously replenishing the hand with high-impact threats. The deck finishes games through devastating combat steps enhanced by trampling overruns like Overwhelming Stampede, Surrak and Goreclaw, and Unnatural Growth. While vulnerable to mass creature sweepers and lacking stack interaction, its dense redundancy and independent backup beaters provide resilient, high-pressure execution.
