Deck overview

This deck is a focused Mardu Vampire tribal strategy led by Edgar Markov. It uses Edgar's Eminence ability to generate a free 1/1 Vampire token whenever you cast a Vampire spell, rapidly building an imposing board without burning extra cards. Low-cost Vampires hit the battlefield on the earliest turns, setting up explosive combat phases powered by mass anthems like Shared Animosity and direct drain triggers like Sanctum Seeker. Powerful draw engines such as Skullclamp, Champion of Dusk, and The One Ring provide sustained card flow to recover from disruption. Instant-speed protection spells like Teferi's Protection and Boros Charm keep the army safe from sweepers. If combat stalls, the deck can tutor for an infinite life-drain combo using Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Exquisite Blood to finish the game instantly.
