Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking turns the Elf graveyard into a toolbox of activated abilities. The main setup uses Buried Alive to place Selvala, Heart of the Wilds, Marwyn, the Nurturer, and Devoted Druid in the graveyard, then casts the commander and follows with legendary Elves to generate cards. Ramp from Sol Ring, mana Elves, land-search spells, and Talismans supports this plan, while Lathril, Blade of the Elves and several token makers provide the pressure route. The deck can build a ten-Elf board and repeatedly activate Lathril to drain each opponent for 10, but it usually needs several turns and an additional damage source to finish players starting at 40 life. Interaction and protection are present but not dense enough to make the line competitive-level. The deck is strongest when its graveyard setup survives and its landfall and Elf-entry engines compound over several turns.
