Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai Elf-tribal strategy commanded by Thranduil, the Elvenking. It combines traditional Elfball mana acceleration with an innovative graveyard toolbox. Thranduil inherits all activated abilities of Elf cards in your graveyard, turning cards like Devoted Druid and Greenhilt Trainee into an infinite self-pump and mana engine when entombed via Buried Alive. The deck develops dense 1-2 CMC ramp during the opening turns, curves into graveyard enablers, and deploys Thranduil as both a card advantage engine and a lethal combat threat. When the combo route is contested, the deck seamlessly pivots to a classic go-wide overrun plan using Elvish Archdruid, Lathril, Blade of the Elves, Tyvar, the Pummeler, and Overwhelming Stampede. Asymmetric board interaction such as Raise the Palisade clears opposing blockers while protecting your own board state.
