Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color midrange combat deck commanded by Thanos, the Mad Titan and companion-locked by Obosh, the Preypiercer to strictly odd mana values. The strategy leverages early deathtouch creatures and 3-CMC mana rocks to establish mana fixing, casts Thanos on Turn 3, and utilizes Obosh on Turn 5 to double all odd damage sources. With Obosh active, Thanos hits for 8 to 14 damage per attack with lifelink and deathtouch, rapidly threatening commander damage kills. To disrupt opponents, the deck deploys asymmetrical board wipes such as Single Combat, Tragic Arrogance, and Promise of Loyalty, alongside rule-of-law enchantments to restrict opposing spell velocity. While the deck boasts heavy combat lifegain and resilient midrange bombs like Atraxa, Grand Unifier, its reliance on sorcery-speed interaction and multi-turn combat executions gives opponents substantial response windows.
