Deck overview

Evereth, Viceroy of Plunder commands a high-velocity Rakdos aristocrats and Treasure synergy deck that converts sacrificial fodder into scaling commander power and table-wide lethal bursts. The deck establishes early board presence through efficient token producers such as Bitterblossom, Black Market Connections, and Greedy Freebooter, before deploying Evereth on Turn 3 as an evasive threat and free sorcery-speed sacrifice outlet. Once assembled, the deck rapidly accumulates Treasure and creature tokens to inflate Evereth's power while triggering secondary drain engines like Mirkwood Bats, Marionette Apprentice, and Mayhem Devil. Rather than grinding through individual combat steps, the primary victory condition leverages lethal damage multiplication: granting Evereth infect via Phyresis, Glistening Oil, or Tainted Strike, or casting Chandra's Ignition to detonate the entire table simultaneously. Supported by robust card engines in Necropotence and Bolas's Citadel alongside free interaction in Deflecting Swat and Deadly Rollick, the deck reliably threatens game-ending burst damage on Turn 6.
