Deck overview

This deck is a Simic synergy deck built around The Astonishing Ant-Man, which turns natural and burst card draw into +1/+1 counters and then converts those counters into a wide board of 1/1 Insect creature tokens. The deck accelerates in the early turns using mana dorks and counter enhancers like Hardened Scales and Kami of Whispered Hopes. Once an army of Insects is established, the deck transitions into a lethal threat around Turn 6 by casting mass power modifiers such as Tanazir Quandrix, Overrun, or Biomass Mutation. The deck generates steady card flow by rewarding card draw and combat connections, but it remains heavily reliant on combat steps and creature permanents. Its primary vulnerability lies in its sparse interaction package and susceptibility to mass creature board wipes.
