New Untitled Deck by DrDevil

Format: Commander

Commander: The Serpent Society

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

The Serpent Society is a Golgari attrition deck built to force opponents to sacrifice creatures through deathtouch death triggers while converting every death into life loss and life gain. The primary plan is incremental sacrifice/drain: play the commander early, sacrifice deathtouch creatures with Grim Backwoods, Witch's Cauldron, and Cauldron of Essence, then drain the table with Bastion of Remembrance, Serrated Scorpion, and Professor Dellian Fel. Secondary paths are a large Exsanguinate, Torgaar halving life totals, and the Professor emblem turning lifegain into damage. There is no hidden commander; the adventure creatures serve as one-card value pieces. The deck is a controlling grind build, not a fast combo or aggro deck.
