Kefka Budget Breaker (Hundo list upgraded) by user5632134

Format: Commander

Commander: Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Grixis deck pilots Kefka, Court Mage as a value engine that transforms into an explosive draw engine on the back face. The primary game plan is to turbo out the commander early using a dense ritual package (Dark Ritual, Rite of Flame, Burnt Offering, Generator Servant), then leverage his front-side discard-triggered card advantage or transform into Kefka, Ruler of Ruin to draw a fresh hand each time opponents lose life. The real knockout punch is a compact infinite-combo kill using Dualcaster Mage and either Twinflame or Electroduplicate to create an arbitrarily large hasty army. The deck supports this line with a deep tutor suite (Demonic Counsel, Insatiable Avarice, Wishclaw Talisman, Lim-Dul's Vault, Buried Alive, and transmute cards) and ample disruption to protect the winning turn. Secondary paths include reanimating Hoarding Broodlord for value or using Displacer Kitten to chain flickers off noncreature spells.
