Deck overview

This Azorius deck is helmed by Kwain, Itinerant Meddler, a group-hug draw engine that turns the commander into a repeatable "everyone draws" faucet. The entire 99 is built to exploit that symmetry: nearly every card is a "whenever you draw a card" payoff (Nadir Kraken, Chasm Skulker, Clinquant Skymage, Hoofprints of the Stag, Krang, the All-Powerful), a hand-size-matters threat (Body of Knowledge, Psychosis Crawler, Ms. Marvel, Kamala Khan), or an alternate draw engine that keeps the cards flowing when Kwain is offline. The primary win paths are the alternate conditions - Triskaidekaphile (exactly 13 cards at upkeep) and Twenty-Toed Toad (20 counters or 20 cards in hand) - backed by a combat channel of enormous hand-sized creatures pumped by Knowledge Is Power. A dense pillowfort suite (Propaganda, Ghostly Prison, Baird, Steward of Argive) buys the time to assemble the big-hand finish.
