Deck overview

Yuna, Grand Summoner helms a Bant +1/+1 counters midrange deck that pairs explosive scaling engines with resilient board protection and decisive combat finishes. The strategy focuses on establishing early ramp through mana dorks and cost-effective ramp spells, transitioning into Turn 4 commander deployment or engine setup. Once Yuna, Grand Summoner is active, she provides fixing, accelerates incoming threats with additional counters, and recycles counters when permanents perish. Counter multipliers like Branching Evolution, Hardened Scales, and Brokers Ascendancy rapidly inflate your board, while card-draw engines like Fathom Mage, Bred for the Hunt, and Inspiring Call maintain hand velocity. Combat evasion enablers such as Duskshell Crawler, Sphere Grid, and Rikku, Resourceful Guardian ensure large creatures push lethal damage through blockers, culminating in game-ending alpha strikes with Akroma's Will or one-sided sweeps via Damning Verdict. A compact infinite mana combo with Incubation Druid, Freed from the Real, and Walking Ballista provides an alternative win route.
