Bear Down For Midterms by Hyper

Format: Commander

Commander: Beorn the Fierce

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This mono-green kindred deck focuses on Bears, leveraging low-cost Bear creatures alongside Beorn the Fierce to establish an aggressive board presence. Beorn provides an anthem effect, trample counters, and repeatable card draw whenever you attack with at least three Bears. The deck accelerates in the early turns using mana dorks and land ramp, transitions into deploying resilient Bears, and capitalizes on power-based card advantage engines like Elemental Bond and Garruk's Uprising. The primary path to victory is overwhelming opponents through wide, high-power combat damage amplified by overrun effects such as Return of the Wildspeaker, Goreclaw, and Surrak and Goreclaw.
