Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue tempo and combat-control strategy commanded by Bilbo, Thief in the Night. The game plan revolves around casting Bilbo early, suiting him up with evasive and protective equipment such as Brotherhood Regalia, Bilbo's Ring, or Cloak and Dagger, and attacking safely to recur key instants, sorceries, and artifacts from the graveyard at a discount. The deck generates steady card advantage by flashing back high-value spells like See the Truth and playing cards from the top of the library with The Reality Chip and Crystal Skull, Isu Spyglass. As the mid-game develops, it pivots into a win condition by going wide with doubling Homunculus Horde tokens, building a lethal Filigree Attendant, or clearing blockers with a one-sided Spectral Deluge. Supported by countermagic and ward equipment, the deck grinds down opposing life totals over multiple turns.
