Deck overview

This Grixis Sauron deck plays a slow control game built around Sauron, the Dark Lord. Sauron grows an Orc Army whenever opponents cast spells and tempts you with the Ring when the Army hits, letting you discard your hand to draw four. The deck uses that draw plus Rhystic Study, The One Ring, and Sheoldred effects to bury opponents in cards while answering threats with counters and removal. Secondary wins come from reanimator haymakers like Portal to Phyrexia, Rise of the Dark Realms, and Ancient Brass Dragon, plus attrition from Grave Pact and Sheoldred. No infinite combo exists; you win by grinding value and finishing with large combat damage.
