B5 The Mindskinner by lancetlc

Format: Commander

Commander: The Mindskinner

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

This mono-blue artifact combo deck wins by assembling deterministic mill or infinite mana lines rather than commander damage. The primary plan is Grindstone plus Painter's Servant to mill opponents' libraries in one activation, doubled by Bruvac the Grandiloquent, with two infinite mana engines - Isochron Scepter imprinting Dramatic Reversal and Basalt Monolith/Grim Monolith plus Power Artifact - converting to a kill with Walking Ballista. The Mindskinner offers a secondary combat mill vector, turning its unblockable 10 power into 20 cards milled with Bruvac. Urza, Lord High Artificer acts as hidden commander, generating mana and card advantage while tutors and draw find the artifact combos.
