Deck overview

This Simic deck blends big-mana ramp, spell duplication, and Lantern Control elements under the leadership of Gandalf, Westward Voyager. The game plan accelerates through early mana dorks, land doublers, and artifacts into a Turn 4 Gandalf. By deploying topdeck-revealing tools like Field of Dreams and Lantern of Insight, the deck manipulates top cards using mill rocks like Codex Shredder to guarantee that Gandalf duplicates every spell with mana value 5 or greater. Once operational by Turn 5, the deck transitions into dropping massive threats such as Koma, Cosmos Serpent, Ezuri's Predation, and Doppelgang, overwhelming opponents with copied armies. Standalone copy engines like The Sixth Doctor and Storm of Saruman ensure resilience even if Gandalf is removed. A versatile interaction suite featuring Mana Drain, Beast Within, and Vexing Bauble keeps fast combo decks in check while the engine secures a decisive combat victory around Turn 8.
