Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Boros midrange strategy commanded by Quintorius, History Chaser. The game plan revolves around exploiting cards leaving the graveyard—via discard-to-exile engines, flashback, and recursion—to generate a large army of 3/2 Spirit creature tokens. Quintorius acts as both a card advantage engine with its +1 loyalty ability and a sudden combat finisher via its −4 double strike and vigilance boost. The deck supplements combat pressure with persistent burn damage from staples like Purphoros, God of the Forge, Impact Tremors, and Warleader's Call, punishing opponents whenever new tokens enter the battlefield. Resilient recursion pieces such as Sun Titan, Sevinne's Reclamation, and Serra Paragon keep the graveyard engine supplied with resources, while protective spells like Boros Charm and Guardian of Faith shield the board from sweepers. The deck reliably assembles its core engine on Turn 4, establishes lethal table pressure by Turn 6, and eliminates all opponents by Turn 8.
