Commander: The Astonishing Ant-Man

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Astonishing Ant-Man is a Simic +1/+1 counter and token engine deck. The primary plan is to amass counters through draw triggers, multiply them with enchantments like Hardened Scales and Branching Evolution, then convert accumulated counters into Insect tokens and crash in with unblockable armies via Herald of Secret Streams or Craterhoof Behemoth. Secondary paths include an alternate win in Simic Ascendancy, Twenty-Toed Toad's hand-size win, and a Mind Over Matter + The One Ring loop that can draw the library into Psychosis Crawler damage. The commander functions as a draw-triggered counter battery and token maker whose role can be replaced by Ant-Man, Colony Commander or other engine pieces; there is no true hidden commander, though the 99 includes a second Ant-Man build-around.
