Yennett, secret lair (own build) by Kiraie

Format: Commander

Commander: Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign

Bracket: 3

DeckCheck Threat Index: 22

Deck overview

The deck uses Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign as a repeatable top-deck spell cheat engine. Ramp from Sol Ring, the talismans, Arcane Signet, and related artifacts supports the five-mana commander, while Scroll Rack, Brainstorm, Ponder, Sensei's Divining Top, and Soothsaying arrange odd-mana-value cards for attacks. The strongest ordinary threat is a free Portal to Phyrexia, which removes creature boards and starts recurring reanimation. The deck also contains a broad but mana-hungry control package, defensive taxes, and expensive independent threats such as Void Winnower and Valgavoth, Terror Eater. Its main weakness is that assembly needs both the commander and top-deck support, while the Portal engine does not itself provide a deterministic kill. It is therefore a strong casual-to-high-power attrition shell, but not a cEDH construction or a reliable combo deck.
